5 popular beauty trends spotted on Instagram
1. The Euphoria dazzle
We seriously can’t get over the creative make-up looks from the HBO show Euphoria. The artist behind these looks is Doniella Davy. Celebs and beauty guru’s are taking major inspiration from these looks. The most iconic one is the dazzling ‘Maddy make-up’ inspired by the fictional character Maddy Perez.

@euphoria has us all bedazzling our face like we use to bedazzle our sidekick phones and I’m not mad at it. I had so much fun creating this look inspired by @euphoria Shout out to the amazing makeup artists of the show who have inspired me so much! @donni.davy @kirinrider The video is up on my YouTube channel
2. Watercolor art
The look resembles a stunning, ethereal watercolor effect. Multiple shades blended together across the eyelid – which result looks like a watercolor painting. To recreate this, you just add some water and use neon eyeshadow colors, according to Mario Dedivanovic, Kim Kardashians regular make-up artist.
3. Edgy Liner
An aftermath of the New York Fashion Week: the winged eyeliner. This (eye)conic trend dominated the catwalk in all kinds of different ways. Think: graphic liner, feline flick, neon liner, cut crease liner, BIG liner, punk vibes – you name it! Right now it’s all about getting edgy with liner and putting a fresh spin on the classic look.
4. Nineties Make-up
Nineties make-up is still a major mood in beautyland. It’s almost the opposite look of those other colorful, graphic trends. The ingredients for this vintage Versace make-up look are: a smokey eye, winged liner, defined brows, brownish overlined lips – and if you want to go all out: the iconic Cindy Crawford birthmark. Dutch MUA Celine Bernaerts explains how to create this look.

5. Monogram look
Last but not least is the monogram look. Feeling Fendi or Very Vuitton? Go crazy with the logo of your favorite fashion house. You can make it as crazy as you like. A little too over the top for you? You could always go to the Halloween party dressed as a Louis Vuitton bag.
